Linocuts are relief prints made with a block of linoleum, which is carved and inked, then pressed on a piece of paper. His Linocuts were printed by Studio Press Ltd., which Huie established in 1950. These images depict the rich cultural heritage of Jamaican life. He also produced Christmas Cards, many of which were commissioned by large corporations in Jamaica. These cards have also become collector’s items today. In 2003, a limited edition of a Linocut called: The Family was produced in New York City by Marjorie Van Dyke, a former printer for the Bob Blackburn Workshop, New York City.
